Have you been reading British Vogue's weekly commentary? It's spot-on and hilarious and I think you might love. The latest episode seemed, to me, particularly nonsensical: Why does Carrie need to wear heels when she's at home, alone? Does anyone really do this? Why does Lisa dress like she's going to a rave in 1993 Prague rather than a PBS documentarian?? Why did the costume designer feel like Charlotte would wear a fanny pack with her dog's face on it? And what writer can afford to keep an apartment in Manhattan that they only use for six months out of the year?? I could go on and on...

No, looking now! Much like yourself, I could, and will, go on. I enjoy a good hate watch so much. (Enough to start a newsletter, apparently!)

I am hoping that Aiden also gets killed off for that car/phone sex scene. It seems just.

Please tell me what day of the week it was when all those fools went glamping and Seema waited to hear about her bank loan and a dining room table got delivered?

It’s funny that you ask this, though, because one of the things I think is bizarre about the show is exactly this! The edits are terrible and I can almost never tell who is where and when they are there.

This is spot on and the episode that bothers me the most- carrie’s insistence that she needs to wear her crazy shoes all over her hardwood floors with a neighbor below her.

1: no one wears their shoes inside anymore- gross.

2: why so selfish? Take off the stupid shoes. Oh, wait you’re the most important person out of the 8 B on the planet. I forgot.

3: the outfits are ridiculous. No one dresses like that on a daily basis.

It’s entertaining, at best. A waste of time at worst- and yet we still watch 😆🫣.

Yes! The shoes, I almost felt inclined to re-watch every old SATC episode after this to document all instances of Carrie barefoot in her apartment, curled up writing in her chair. It was so - ha- shoehorned in for the meet-cute.

I watched the first season, more accurately, hate watched after the first couple episodes praying it would redeem itself. When season 2 was announced I swore not to give it my streaming numbers!! This has not kept my morbid fascination from reading each episode summary/review wondering how it can possibly get any worse, yet ...

However, this is the fun summer reading I am here for, cannot wait!!

I was dumped by a friend because she didn’t like my carbon footprint marked by the fact that I watched SATC. I did love the original and have no idea why I watch this mess . Carrie is obnoxious. Aidan is just gross..( I was never an Aiden fan TBH) . Why do the women wear what they wear? Looking forward to this !

It’s just bad. Bad, bad, bad!!! They have become caricatures of their previous self’s. And the over the top acting and reacting is just cringy. But, like you, I will continue to watch🙇🏼‍♀️

My sister and I watch together and call it our hour of "hate this tv". Carrie has regressed to 1998 & yet is more selfish, ignorant & shallow than ever.

I didn't hate the other seasons as I now am so disappointed at the unrealistic asinineness this season! I still feel Miranda & Charlotte are at least true to themselves in a great way. What a shame!
